Become a Contestant
YMBP, Inc. encourages all young women ages, 13-17 who live in the City of
Buffalo and surrounding areas to submit an application to compete in the
Young Miss Buffalo Pageant: Scholarship & Enrichment Program.
Please check the 2012 program dates and read the information below very
carefully before calling with questions. In addition to the application below, please mail a photocopy of Birth Certificate; Report Card; and Proof of address by Friday, February 10, 2012 to: YMBP, Inc.: 795 E. Delavan Avenue, Buffalo, New York 14215.

ELIGIBILITY:
The Young Miss Buffalo is open to any young lady who:
1. is at least 13 years of age & no older than 17 years of age on July 1,
2012; AND
2. is a citizen of the U.S.; AND
3. lives in the City of Buffalo and surrounding areas and has been a resident
for at least 6 months prior to July 1, 2012.
ADDITIONAL MATERIALS:
Please provide the following materials along with your application:
1. A photocopy of Birth Certificate; and
2. Current Report Card
ADDITIONAL MATERIALS MUST BE ATTACHED TO APPLICATION:
Any application without additional materials will not be considered. Once
your application and additional materials is received, each applicant will
be called and scheduled an interview. Interviews will take place on February 25, 2012. Each applicant will take part in a
two-minute interview and perform their talent presentation for the panel
of interview judges. The 20 contestants will be selected from the interviews
and will participate in the 16-week Young Miss Buffalo Pageant: Scholarship & Enrichment Program. Every contestant
(accepted or rejected) will be notified by regular mail.
