YMBP, Inc. encourages all young women ages, 13-17 who live in the City of Buffalo and surrounding areas to submit an application to compete in the Young Miss Buffalo Pageant: Scholarship & Enrichment Program.

Please check the 2010 program dates and read the information below very carefully before calling the Programming Chair with questions. Please return completed application, proof of residency and your most current report card on or before Friday, February 12, 2010.

ELIGIBILITY:
The Young Miss Buffalo is open to any young lady who:
1. is at least 13 years of age & no older than 17 years of age on July 1, 2010; AND
2. is a citizen of the U.S.; AND
3. lives in the City of Buffalo and surrounding areas and has been a resident for at least 6 months prior to July 1, 2010.

PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY (ADDRESS):
Please provide one of the following proofs of residency along with Birth Certificate and current Report Card:
1. A photocopy of driver's/non-driver's license
OR
2. School transcript

PROOF OF RESIDENCY MUST BE ATTACHED TO APPLICATION:
Any application without proof of residency will not be considered. Once your application and proof of residency is received, each applicant will be called and scheduled an interview. Each applicant will take part in a two-minute interview and perform their talent presentation for the panel of interview judges. The 20 contestants will be selected from the interviews and will participate in the 2010 Young Miss Buffalo Pageant. Every contestant (accepted or rejected) will be notified by regular mail.
